A glittery, sparkly day spent creating a textural landscape on dupion silk, using textile paints and inks on lace . You will be shown step by step how to build up layers whilst incorporating metals, angelina fibres and silk tissue within your composition. The afternoon will be devoted to stitching your panel with the free-machine embroidery foot.

What you will need to bring
Machine complete with free machine embroidery foot
embroidery scissors.
If you have any decorative, white, cream lace – nylon or natural, lace or crochet ribbons, decorative yarns – bring them along. If you have done Layered Landscapes with Alex you may wish to bring along a coastal or garden picture to work from.
