ALL MATERIALS and LIGHT LUNCH INCLUDED

Daphne begins our short “Learn Oil Painting” series with an introduction to all the basic things you need to know: properties of the paint, surfaces to paint on, different mediums, etc. This will be explained with demonstrations and it won’t be long before you are using the paint yourself, as you experiment with colour mixing; starting with the primaries.

In the afternoon she will introduce you to the Earth colours and take you step by step as you attempt an oil sketch in the manner of John Constable. The day will finish with an explanation of how to clean up and care for your bushes.

Especially Aimed at Beginners, but great fun for anyone.
