(NHS Surgeons and Trainees)
The group will be tutored by local artist Lois Cordelia and aims to give you an introduction to portraiture. The day will begin with tea and coffee, when Lois will find out what drawing or painting experience the group members have. Focusing on the proportions of the face you will initially be working in pencil, with the aim of really observing the subject from a creative perspective. As the day progresses you will have the opportunity to use other media and introduce colour into your work – expect to produce a few pieces depending on how quickly you work.
