March
New Artist; We are very pleased to welcome Alex Roch an extremely accomplished oil painter. Alex will be taking a day’s workshop on putting your figures in to scenes. You can use traditional or water soluble oils, she is happy to work with complete beginners or experienced artists.
Also in March Charlie’s back again, in fact we can’t keep him away, but this time he is doing one day in watercolour and the other in acrylic, always a lot of fun,
Following the success of Deb Hart’s first Willow Weaving workshop we have our new Basket weaving day on Saturday March 12th. This is quite an intense day so there are only 7 places, I have had a lot of interest in this following the willow Xmas wreaths.
Alex Waylets and her pebbles, there are still a few places remaining, despite making herself famous by featuring in Dec/Jan Stitch magazine, congratulations.
A Couple of courses, Drawing or Dress Making?
These weekly courses both start in April: Drawing for beginners is on a Tuesday evening and structured for absolute beginners and those wanting to learn new drawing skills, we are very pleased to welcome Sue with her huge enthusiasm for the subject. Dress making is on a Wednesday morning and back by popular demand, with our ever patient Amanda Walker.
Lastly
Haidee Jo is now full on the Saturday, and just one place remaining on the Sunday. We were thrilled to hear she has been elected as an Associate member of the Royal institute of Oil Painters. This will be the third year she has come to us, I hope she will still come back in 2017.
Thanks again for all your loyal support,
Bev Caleno. |
