Summer this year seems to be rolling on and on, with beautiful sunny days right through September! But, as they say, all good things must come to an end and maybe now is the time to think about doing something a bit different. Here’s a good idea – why not come down to The Bank and reinvigorate your creative side on a full day workshop. I don’t think we’ve ever had more variety on offer, so now is a great time to try your hand at; Painting, Textiles, Printmaking or Crafting. At the time of this newsletter hitting your ‘in box’ there are still places available on the following events (if however we’re showing ‘no places available’ it’s still worth giving us a call):

After his absolutely brilliant ‘Sunlit Trees’ workshop last week, we are really pleased to be welcoming Hashim Akib back in April 2015, where the theme will be ‘Expressive Portraits’ in vibrant acrylic. Bookings for this event were taken on the day, so we think it will fill quite quickly – don’t delay if you think you might want to join us for this workshop. |
Between her putting on exhibitions, travelling abroad and winning prizes we’ve managed to persuade Haidee-Jo Summers to come for a full weekend in May. Entitled ‘Light and Colour’ you will have the opportunity to paint with Haidee-Jo and explore her approach to fresh, contemporary landscapes and seascapes. You can choose to come on either day or both if you really want to immerse yourself. There are plenty of interesting places to stay in Harwich (check our accommodation link) if you want to stay over.
Here’s what some of our recent students have had to say:
“I must write and congratulate you on the wonderful facilities you have created in Harwich yesterday was a very inspiring experience, which I will relish for a long time. I had witnessed a demonstration by Hash previously so his charisma and talent came as no surprise. Thank you for your constant attention to detail culminating in a truly splendid lunch”. Terence
“Thanks for a great workshop experience Bev – one of the best ones I have ever been to. Wonderful to have someone like Hashim Akib too. I still keep thinking about those cream scones mmmmmmmmmm”. Jane Carle
