This is a structured workshop designed to encourage the textile artist to think outside the box and work with material combinations they may not have previously considered.
Participants will create a highly ornate panel with the use of water soluble fabrics combined with appliqued space dyed velvets and decorative cords.
As we just have a day we will be using the hot plate to dry out your creations so they then could be beaded at home if you wish.
Ideal for experienced in free machine embroidery.
Includes homemade lunch and refreshments
What you will need to bring
machine complete with extension table, free machine embroidery foot ( a necessity) , normal presser foot, spare bobbins.
If you have one please bring along your fine nib soldering tool (Margaret Beal )
Embroidery scissors
Embroidery threads
Any small pieces of Space Dyed Velvet in your chosen colours
