Spend a day creating your own layered fabric whilst exploring the multitude of decorative stitches available on your sewing machine. Whilst learning about the different materials available to the textile artist you will combine colour, texture and stitch to produce a layered sample which will be constructed into cards and a decorative box.
Ideal workshop for beginners in free machine embroidery.All materials are included.
Sewing machines are available for all students, however if you would like to bring your own that is also fine, but it will need a darning foot.
Includes homemade lunch and all refreshments
