This is a 1-day workshop that will introduce learners with no prior experience of machine patchwork and quilting to the craft through the making of a cushion cover to fit an 18” cushion pad. It is desirable, but not essential, that participants have experience of using a sewing machine. This is a machine based course with no hand stitching.
The cushion front is wadded and quilted. The
cushion cover is lined throughout, has a pillow
case closure and has an Oxford edge finish.
The cushion cover is approx. 22” square
(including the Oxford edge) and will take an 18”
cushion pad.
