Two Day Course Saturday 20th and Sunday 21st September
This is a great opportunity to expand on your watercolour landscape painting or have ago if you haven’t painted before. I will be using all different reference to my previous beginners classes.
Starting off with practicing loose brush strokes, paint consistency and washes, looking at wet on wet, wet on dry and colour mixing. We’ll also explore some interesting paint effects such as, salt, cling film and masking fluid.
Also looking at composition and how to paint a lively landscape from reference supplied. All material artist quality paint and paper are supplied, but I will be able to give you advice on what to buy to continue on your watercolour journey.

About your Tutor
Bev Caleno is a successful watercolour painter who sells her work locally and further afield. She is a member of Colchester Art Society and has previously had paintings pre-selected for The Royal Institute of Painters in Water Colour. Bev continues to hone her skills; painting with many of the talented artists that visit the studios.
What you will need to bring
All materials and equipment are included, however you may wish to bring your own brushes if you already do some painting.
