ALL MATERIALS INCLUDED
The day will start with advice on paper, paints and brushes suitable for this project.
As well as painting for beginners and those who already paint, we will also initially be concentrating on some drawing, with tips on proportions, relationships and negative spaces. Then the painting: looking at colours, brushstrokes, paint consistency and tone to complete the bird studies. We will be working quite small to produce two paintings that can fit into a 10” square frame.

About your tutor
Bev Caleno is a successful watercolour painter who sells her work locally and further afield. She is a member of Colchester Art Society and has previously had paintings pre-selected for The Royal Institute of Painters in Water Colour. Bev continues to hone her skills; painting with many of the talented artists that visit the studios.
What you will need to bring
All artist quality materials are provided but you might like to bring your own brushes. (Small rounds) if you have them.
