This is an exciting new painting workshop for those who are beginners or have painted before. You can paint your own pet or do this charming picture of Louis, either way I will give you lots of advice on drawing initially and then how to pen in detail and finally how to use the right colour palette for your own pet. If you don’t have a pet I’m happy for you to bring another animal, but it must be a portrait.

About your tutor
Bev Caleno is a successful watercolour painter who sells her work locally and further afield. She is a member of Colchester Art Society and has previously had paintings pre-selected for The Royal Institute of Painters in Water Colour. Bev continues to hone her skills; painting with many of the talented artists that visit the studios.
What you will need to bring
You will need to bring a good clear image of your subject (at least A4)
Artist quality paint and paper provided, but it might be a good idea to bring your own brushes if you have them.
