We are very excited to welcome back Charles Evans; well known TV artist and leading demonstrator for Windsor and Newton. Charles’ experienced and friendly manner will provide you with a day of productive watercolour painting, starting with a simple landscape/seascape and building up to a more detailed painting in the afternoon.

Charles will share his extensive knowledge and provide numerous tips on colour use, brush techniques and adding detail to your work. This workshop is suitable for the complete beginner or for those who have painted before and wish to hone their skills further.

About the Artist

Born and bred in Yorkshire, Charles spent his childhood playing in the fields, woods and rivers around the farm where he lived, fuelling an inbred appreciation of the countryside.

After studying at Lincoln College of Art, Charles developed his career as a watercolour artist. Now he is equally well regarded for his work in acrylic. As one of the country’s best known painting tutors he imparts his knowledge with warmth and humour.
