Daphne Sandham – Beginners Oil Painting, Jugs & Flowers
Change of Date
This workshop is now on FRIDAY 27th NOVEMBER
ALL MATERIALS INCLUDED
The day will begin with a brief description of the properties and uses of oil paint before setting up your subject. You will select a nice jug from Daphne’s extensive collection and some flowers, probably Nasturstiums or rosebuds.
Once set up you will be painting on a small, deep canvasses so that it can be free standing, say on a bookcase where people would like a jug of flowers or hung on wall. You can paint along with Daphne step by step as she explains the process, colour use and light. You can expect to complete a painting by the end of the day.
The day will finish with an explanation of how to clean up and care for your bushes.
For absolute beginners and people who have painted in oils
Includes homemade lunch, refreshments and afternoon tea
