About the tutor
Bridget is a professional feltmaker specialising in handmade felt hats, scarves and accessories. Using traditional wet felting techniques, her designs are individually handmade from high quality merino wool to create a unique product. She is a member of the International Feltmakers Association and exhibits in galleries in East Anglia.
“Felt is my passion, my obsession! I am still amazed by the almost magical transformation from raw unspun wool to a fabulously versatile textile. I love the texture, I love its sculptural properties, I love the way that colours can be combined and overlain – almost like watercolours. I never fail to be stunned by the results.”
