Hazel Lale – Boats and Harbours, Watercolour and Mixed Media – SORRY FULLY BOOKED

Date: 20th May 2017
Time: 10:00 am - 4:30 pm
Spaces: 0

Exploring the shapes and colours of a harbour and boats.

The workshop will begin with a general discussion about the day’s events and subject, giving everyone a chance to get to know each other and ask any questions.

Hazel will help you to look at the subject and find shapes that make up the composition, before giving advise on drawing. As you begin to use colour she will show you, how to interpret light on the shapes to give three dimensions, with your paint. Along the way there will be advise on colour mixing, as you learn Hazel’s approach to working in watercolour and introducing other media.
Much encouragement and guidance will be offered throughout the workshop.

Includes homemade lunch, refreshments and cream tea

About the Artist

Based in Sheffield Hazel Lale is a successful painter and art tutor. Her work is strongly influenced by her travels — the bustle and colours of the souks of Marrakesh, the temples and forests of India, the Savannah and wildlife of Africa or within our own shores.

She has exhibited in many one-woman shows, in the U.K. and internationally. Recently Hazel was invited to show alongside an established fashion designer during the London Fashion Week; a first for this event. For the past few years she has exhibited in a prestigious San Francisco Gallery, which has led to several major international commissions.
