£79.00 | 8th July - 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM | Spaces available: 9

All Materials Included

This is a great opportunity to work with one of East Anglia’s best willow workers. This full day course will take place within our walled garden (weather permitting, otherwise in our spacious studio). Learn about the properties of willow and the different types available for weaving as Jo takes you through the process of making this wonderful bird feeder. The day will be broken up with demos and you will work step by step, ensuring that no one gets left behind. You will be introduced to different construction techniques including traditional basketry weave.

Jo is very accomplished and hugely talented and as a tutor offers patience, enthusiasm and plenty of hands-on help.

Beginners are very welcome on this workshop, however willow weaving requires reasonable hand strength.

Includes homemade lunch and refreshments
