All Materials Included
Join experienced tutor Jo Hammond for this workshop, learning step-by-step how to create a bird sculpture for your garden.
You’ll learn to weave natural brown willow into sculptural forms starting with a firm framework, then a covering of sinuous ‘freeweave’. As your piece takes shape with legs, head and tail, you can choose whether to make it into a charming hen, pheasant, goose or duck.
Beginners are very welcome on this workshop, however willow weaving requires reasonable hand strength.
Includes homemade lunch and refreshments
