Whether booked as a one or two day workshop, working with John Glover promises to be a hugely rewarding experience. Working from life, John a passionate portrait and figure painter, will teach you not only the painting techniques required, but also how to bring the personality of the subject to your work.

Each day will include demonstrations by John in both pastels and oils, as he instructs you on anatomy, proportions and composition. Beginning with quick sketches you will build up to a longer final pose where you will be able to make a colour study in the medium of your choice. There will be plenty of guidance on the use of tone and colour.
