Kate Findlay – Bird Appliqué Composition

Date: 7th November 2021
Time: 10:00 am - 4:00 pm
Spaces: 2

Make a small fabric picture in a day using a favourite bird.

We will consider design, composition and colour. Using bondaweb, we will be cutting fabric shapes and ironing them down as raw edge appliqué. The composition can then be finished with hand or machine sewing as preferred. Bird templates will be provided, or you can draw your own. Ideas for settings will be given, including simple landscapes, or flowers/branches/garden ornaments to provide the setting for your bird. We will make a design approximately 30cm square.

Includes homemade lunch and refreshments
