The first part of the day will take the form of a paint along. Kate will begin with a demonstration of line and wash painting of a hare and follow on with a tutored session for participants using the same reference photo, with everyone working at the same pace.
After lunch Kate will provide a second demo/tutored session using another source photo, or you can work from your own reference photos if you wish to work on your own project. Either way Kate will be on hand to provide plenty of one to one tuition and guidance.
The day will end with an appraisal/critique of your work with feedback that will help you take your work forward.
Includes homemade lunch, refreshments and cream tea
About the Artist
Kate Gabriel is a self-taught artist living and working in Ludham, a pretty village in the Norfolk Broads, England. She paints in oils, acrylics and watercolour, along with little journeys into printing. She is inspired by animals; wildlife, domestic and pets, and the beautiful Norfolk countryside in which she lives. Hares have always fascinated her and her sensitive line and wash paintings are always popular at her studio gallery.
