Accomplished Artist Ken Kempley ( S.A.A – Society for All Artists) will join us for this one day Acrylic workshop, which is for painters of all abilities. The emphasis on painting rather than drawing will provide you with many useful hints and tips and will give you the opportunity to learn simple techniques such as: brush control, colour mixing, tonal values, composition and limited pallet control, all at your own pace.
Whether as a beginner or an improver Ken’s workshop is sure to give you freedom to express your true creativity.

About the Artist

“Born in the Peak District and now living close to the sea in East Anglia, I have always had a fascination with both nature and the barren beauty found in remote locations such as mountain, moor, wetlands and estuaries and it is subjects like this that form a basis for my style of work. The desire to create and capture atmosphere, light and drama is an important factor in my paintings and to be able to push a landscape or seascape to the edge of abstraction, whilst retaining it’s origins provides me with both inspiration and emotion”.

Suitable for all abilities.

Includes homemade lunch, refreshments and afternoon tea.
