Learn Watercolour with Andrew Pitt – Big Skies

Date: 14th June 2017
Time: 10:00 am - 4:30 pm
Spaces: 2

Andrew’s work is mostly done plein air in and around East Anglia, which means plenty of Big Skies. In his words he doesn’t want to paint a sky he wants to paint the sky; the one he sees. During this workshop Andrew will paint a demonstration watercolour and will provide guidance on an individual basis according to your experience and style. Once Andrew has seen the group paint he will be in a better position to address the problems (if any!) that students have encountered. He will then do another demonstration to end the day, with the aim of addressing these difficulties.

Includes refreshments

About the Artist

Andrew Pitt was born in Maldon, Essex was educated St. Andrew’s University.  He has been painting landscapes since he was 11 and continues to this day as a professional artist exhibiting and demonstrating. Andrew has been teaching his painting techniques for over 40 years, gaining a reputation for his simple, direct methods and the clarity of his explanations. A loose, fresh approach to watercolour and a simplicity of style combined with an ability to explain his methods clearly, means he is much in demand as a tutor.
