All Materials Included
During this one-day Christmas mosaic workshop you will make four seasonally themed decorative pieces This is a fun day for people new to mosaics or those just wanting to make some festive items in the company of other similarly minded creatives.
You will be introduced to laying and design techniques with guidance on suitable materials, bases and glue. There will be a demonstration of grouting so attendees can see how to weatherproof their mosaics to complete their designs at home.

About your tutor
Nicola Upton, a mosaic artist based in Leigh-on-Sea; she calls herself Mrs Mosaic!
She completed her degree in 3D glass design back in the 90’s and uses her knowledge and experience to create work encompassing kiln-fused glass, stained glass, traditional mosaic and mixed media pieces incorporating glass. She loves to experiment and play with materials and sometimes like to use ceramics & sea glass found on beach foraging.

What you will need to bring
All materials are provided including box for storage with ‘goody bag’, including grout and hanging wires for finished pieces.
