During this exciting day you will be working on a small, beautifully lit, Christmas themed still life. Perfect to be reproduced as your own Christmas card.
It doesn’t matter if you haven’t painted in oils before, or if you are a regular painter, Penny will guide you at your own pace. The workshop will begin with a demonstration, following which you will tackle set-up and composition. As you begin your painting Penny will teach the fundamentals of tonal values, edges and colour.

About the Artist
Penny German is an artist from Northamptonshire. For many years she specialized in botanical illustration in watercolour, working on projects for the RHS and Oxford University Press. Ten years ago she discovered a love of oil painting and has since been working on capturing the effects of light in still life and portraits.
Recently Penny has discovered and joined the global phenomenon known as daily painting. What started as a record of her progress is gaining momentum and her small daily paintings have been sold around the World. Click for Artist’s website
