An exciting day spent combining shimmering fabrics with cotton and silk and lots of free machine embroidery with the darning foot. We will explore the stunning effects you can achieve with reverse applique techniques and a soldering iron. We will look at colour combinations, design, composition and the various textural stitch effects achieved with the darning foot.
Requirements –
If you have one please bring along your fine nib soldering tool (Margaret Beal )
Embroidery scissors
Embroidery threads (if you have some)
You can bring along your own sewing machine and darning foot if you have one.
