Internationally renowned artist and author Soraya French joins us this year for a weekend of exciting mixed media. Both days have a different theme, but through her highly individual use of colour and texture, Soraya will share her approach to creating vibrant, powerful works whatever the subject.
On this day Soraya will show you how to create a beautiful flower still life. The style will be very loose and expressive, portraying the character of the subject rather than fussing over the detail. You will be using acrylics, collage and pastels in in a range of exciting techniques. Come along and learn how to put a bit more pizazz into your work.
Includes homemade lunch, refreshments and cream tea.

What you will need to bring
Your usual acrylic painting kit Acrylic paints and Soft Pastels Brushes for painting and PVA Canvas Board or heavy paper Anything that you particularly want to use including interesting collage materials. Some equipment and materials will be available on the day please contact us for details.
