Susan Boddy – Beginners Watercolour 1 – POSTPONED until Sunday 18th March

Date: 3rd March 2018
Time: 10:00 am - 4:30 pm
Spaces: -5

The day will begin with exercises to help develop technique. You will get to know your palette as you warm up with colour mixing and mark making. You will learn about colour intensity and tonal values, important skills which you need, as it is tonal contrast which helps create 3D qualities and depth to your work. Susan will explain the importance of timing in watercolour painting, whether you are working wet into wet or wet on dry and will help you identify and appreciate the ‘abstract’ marks and ‘happy accidents’ you make and how to use them. There will also be short demonstrations throughout the day.

Includes homemade lunch, refreshments and cream tea
