ALL MATERIALS INCLUDED

Discover creative approaches to creating abstract contemporary textile projects inspired by Nature. There’s magic when you zoom into nature and let yourself be inspired by its colour pattern and texture. In the studio you will learn to recreate nature’s inspiration using a range of experimental embroidery, beading and constructed textile techniques, to create a circular panel.
Bring a zoomed in photo you have taken from the natural world; on walks, in your garden or on the beach: you could look at lichen, fungi, bark, shells, plants, seeds anything with interesting colour, pattern and texture. Take a zoomed in photo using your smart phone or camera cropping into all the really interesting bits ! Print off onto A4 paper and bring to the workshop.
