Spend  a day painting with the highly accomplished William Newton and discover the methods he uses to capture stunning depictions of the traditional Essex coastline. Working in watercolour William will demonstrate how to create a high level of accuracy in the subject with a subtle use of detail. You will also explore composition and colour use; key elements necessary to make any scene at once engaging and convincing.

For those participants with less developed drawing skills, simpler subjects can be attempted with more emphasis on the seascape element of the work. Whatever your level of ability you are sure to learn a lot from this talented, versatile artist.
